GREENSBORO, March 9, 2023—Last week, Cone Health CEO Mary Jo Cagle, MD, and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Chancellor Harold L. Martin, Sr., PhD, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), strengthening the already-existing partnership between the two organizations as they work to expand opportunities for students interested in pursuing healthcare careers.
Terry Lynn, Director of Medical Education at Cone Health and Interim Director of Piedmont AHEC, served on the planning committee for the March 2 event and co-facilitated a small group discussion about experiential learning opportunities with Dinitra White, PhD, Associate Professor, Biology, N.C. A&T, who co-directs Piedmont AHEC’s Pre-Professional Scholars Summer Experience (PPSSE).
